Qixin Zhang, the fashion designer behind brand r.l.e is back with her new SS24 collection. She has yet again wowed the fashion week crowd with her beautiful runway show at iconic Bank Hall in central London. Designer Qixin captures our eye with her imaginative use of textiles and the ethereal feminine energy emanating from the pieces worn by her models. Her new collection titled ’MurMur’ has a beautiful palette of icy white, soft blues and minty greens in textiles from tulle to knits, knots and satins.

The softness of this collection is Qixin’s expression of a murmur, one that captures the inner beauty of her creative mind. The designer is making a statement that amidst the loudness of modern society there exists beauty and quiet forms of self expression that can capture our imaginations and inspire us.
An important foundation to the r.l.e brand is the sustainability of the materials and textiles designer Qixin Zhang uses. Beyond just using existing materials, Qixin creates her own yarn with offcuts of fabrics. She also uses various techniques such as knotting to create handmade yet wearable pieces. You can see the stunning results below, where creativity and resourcefulness give birth to beautiful garments which set the viewer’s imagination alive at London fashion week.

2023 also marks the launch of a new brand in the house of r.l.e - r.l.e pets. The new pet garments are an extension of the r.l.e easthetics; comfortable, fashionable and made from natural materials such as cotton or wool.
