Last night on Friday 18th at 4.30pm, the Rixo Presentation for AW22 kicked off with a bang. Two rows of models adorned in Rixo dresses inspired by the 1930s graced the stage of Goldsmith's Hall. In full glam get up, from head to toe, the girls were full of joy and fun as they danced on stage and mingled with each other in true old Hollywood style, accompanied by a quintessential swing band, boater hats to match. It was a roaring success!
The mood was light and full of joy and the champagne was pouring. Rixo had the genius idea to build a tower of champagne coupes, carefully filled by two personable barmen. Ladies toured the large hall with champagne bottles, filling glasses of enthusiastic fashion people, mingling with their contacts whilst bumping into friends and colleagues.

The atmosphere was electric and the girls were sublime. Rixo have made sure that this season, their collections of dresses are accessible to all women. From size 6 to 24, their sultry dresses are made to fit all bodies. All ethnicities and bodies were represented to reflect Rixo's ethos to capture a brand for all women with what they have called Humans of Rixo. What brings these women together? Their sensuality and their confidence. The comfort they felt in their Rixo garments was obvious - they moved effortlessly and danced for the full duration of the presentation.
The girls could well have been friends, somebody we knew or the girl next door. It felt easy to find a girl in the line-up to identify with and imagine oneself in the garments. A great piece of theatre by the clever minds behind Rixo • Designers Henrietta Rix & Orlagh McCloskey.
