London Fashion Week presents Ray Chu

Free spirits rose to the rooftops of Soho for Taiwanese designer Ray Chu's SS23 presentation of his new collection - CHAPTER V KISS ME. The setting, a rooftop in the heart of Soho. think concrete architecture, industrial grills, and views of central London over the tops of chimneys and roofs.

Models dressed in metallics, colourful pieces and cut outs posed outside in the morning breeze as fashion attendees mingled around them. The concept was casual and informal, and allowing for guests to engage with models and make conversation, connections and photographs.

Ray Chu's vision of fashion is to create inclusive, a-gender, sexy and edgy clothing. This collection presents 25 genderless pieces with cutout accents, bold silhouettes and chunky silver jewellery. This season, Chu references three key colours in his work - Turquoise Blue, Bone Ivory and Powder Violet.

In collaboration with Taiwanese LAB 8080, Chu developed a new vegan leather using recycled plastics, tea leaves and pineapple fibres which make up key fabrics in the collection.

Ray Chu's collection will be available to shop via the Ray Chu website soon. Chu's previous collections are available to purchase here.
