Happy Valentine's Day from Hilton Molino Stucky Venice. This February 14th, Venice's most loved hotel is bringing you the Cupid's Arrow cocktail. A deliciously dark and delightfully naughty cocktail with rum and Tia Maria created by the clever team at the Rialto bar and restaurant. It'll give you a warm kick and keep you up all night. And if you don't want a sore head the next day, then how about you try the non-alcoholic version? The Cupid's Arrow


Ingredients

Serves 1


Martini Glass

Cocktail shaker & strainer


50 ml Dark Chocolate (or cacao) melted into milk

40 ml Myers Dark Rum

15 ml Tia Maria

25 ml Coconut Syrup or simple sugar syrup (you can make your own)



Non-alcoholic version:


Martini glass

Cocktail shaker & strainer




50 ml Dark Chocolate (or cacao) melted into milk

40 ml Lyer's Dark Cane no-alcohol spirit

15 ml Espresso coffee (half a shot)

25 ml Coconut Syrup or simple sugar syrup (you can make your own)


Method

  • Prepare a hot chocolate and let it cool down.

  • Get a Martini glass and pour some ice to chill the glass.

  • Dip the glass in the white and red sugar (if you have it) for the rim decoration.

  • Get a shaker and pour in all the ingredients and shake vigorously to make the foam.

  • Double strain into a martini glass and serve!
